D.I.Y. SkinCare Workshops are for those of you who love to use nothing but the best, the purest and the finest quality plant preparations on yourself and your family. These five hour workshops combine practical and theoretical knowledge with the opportunity to smell, touch, taste and make seven delicious products to take home.

Home made skin cares are fresh, natural, with no synthetically colour, fragrance or preservative.

The 140 ingredients recommended in these work shops are all natural and herbal. They have been chosen both for their therapeutic properties as well as their availability.

After years of collecting my favourite recipes, I feel I can pass on information that will not only save you time but also to save you from annoying trial-and-error procedures.

As well as containing pure plant ingredients your preparations will contain lots of love- a truly special ingredient.

Your instructor Marlene Daniels is a French born, herbal home remedies specialist, qualified naturopath, beautician, herbalist, aromatherapist and soap maker. She founded Soapconscious in 2002, a business dedicated to demystify cosmetic industry and offering alternative natural quality products with pure ingredients.

1x Foundation. Applied all over to create an even skin tone, smooth texture and a flawless finish and offers UVA and UVB protection.
3x Correctors. The “must have” Used to cover blemishes, dark circles and the like.
1x Finish Powder. Also known as Setting Powder, Face Powder or Mineral Veil, it gives an over all translucent glow to the face and is applied last.
1x Blush. To color the cheeks
3x Eye shadows to track attention on your eyes
1x Lip gloss to bring a natural shine on your lips.

Please bring a mirror, some make up brushes and the foundation that you are using. (even if it is not mineral foundation) and optional makeup products you will like to match.

Babies and children love to put their hands and even feet in their mouths, so as parents and carers we should know what we are putting on their skin. Many would be surprised to discover that most commercial baby creams contain petroleum products and synthetic fragrances and colourings. Making your own all-natural powders, salves and bath products is a wonderful way to care for your children and pamper yourself.

In this workshop you will make and take home a full size container of: a baby massage oil for newborns, spray blend ‘sleep tight’ for room and linen, ‘Bottoms Up!’ baby bottom balm, stretch mark balm, soothing moisturising foot cream, baby wash bags and ‘alive body wash’. The retail price of these would more than cover the course fee.

All using premium natural ingredients including essential oils, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, macadamia oil, aloe vera gel, beeswax, honey, floral waters and various botanicals suited for babies and children. Course fee includes all materials, packaging and a set of comprehensive notes with lots of other recipes to try at home.

During 5 hours workshop, we will make

Beauty oil treatment for normal skin. perfect as skin treatment or as a rich night moisturizer. Can also be used as hair, body and bath oil.

Mixed Floral toner spray. nourishing toner, healing but also antiseptic. Smell devine!

Lip balm. A rich moisturizing lip balm with a delicious taste of honey.

Rich night moisturiser.A rich nourishing and moisturising cream for night time. It helps to prevent deshydratation and dryness and it keeps your skin smooth and supple.

Lemon cleanser. A mild cleansing lotion to remove make -up and impurities without leaving the skin feeling dry .

Revitalising facial scrub. A skin smoothing exfoliant for normal skin type skin

Beauty Mask. This mask is very nourishing and acts as intensive moisturizer for the skin.

Eye gel. This is a soothing and revitilizing eye gel for tired and puffy eyes
